Unique Sports Accessories is a Website where customers can find unique items in categories such as skincare, basketball, golf, tennis, running, and platform tennis. The Website can be easily accessed in 2 ways: www.dillondist.com, and/or www.uniquesportsaccessories.com.
The idea of Unique Sports Accessories, like most small businesses, grew out of a market need. It was simple – build a Website where consumers could locate items that are not easily found in brick and mortar stores.
Owned by Westfield and Cranford residents Michael and Lisa Dillon, Unique Sports was founded in 1999. The brother and sister team are both are avid sports fans who were involved in completely different careers, when they decided to establish an on-line store for unique sports items.
The concept of providing a website for unique, hard to find sports items carried over into Health & Skincare products after a deal was struck with a major pharmaceutical company to distribute direct to consumers, their line of over the counter skin care products. These products have loyal users and people can’t find them in the stores anymore.
